When it comes to being an effective leader, some folks seem to have “it,” others don’t. Although “it” is difficult to define in specific terms, we generally know “it” when we see “it.” Think of a person you know that is a leader. What in your mind, makes them a leader? If you can name that quality, that is the leaders “it.” An effective leader is often one who recognizes the need for details. Sometimes it is the little things we do that can make or break a meeting or program.
This page is a tool to help you with the “details.”
We are providing help sheets in five areas of leadership: Leadership Tips 101, Get Acquainted and Team Building Exercises, Hospitality Ideas, Communications and Resources and Useful Websites. Please click on the graphics below to see the corresponding help sheet. The Resource Team of the West Virginia Baptist Women’s Ministries will update this site with new material every March, June and October.
