In partnership with Renew Transformational Strategies, the Mentoring for Pastoral Excellence program was launched in 2020 with the hope that it would inspire, encourage, support and strengthen networks between experienced pastor-mentors and the gifted younger pastor leaders in our churches.
Program Summary
Each participating leader will be paired with a qualified mentor who has been selected on the basis of their experience and wisdom. Mentors and participants will meet monthly for a minimum of one and a half hours. The content of this meeting will follow an agenda. One third of this agenda will be consistent within all of the program and two thirds will be framed by the participant based on their current context and needs. In addition to the monthly meetings each participant and mentor will attend an annual conference to promote further learning and networking amongst the group.
Cost of the Program
Due to a generous grant, the cost in only $360.00 annually plus one night of lodging during a fall two-day retreat. (Cost includes 12 mentoring sessions and the yearly conference).
