The Paul and Judy Fulks Mission Trip Scholarship Fund is established for the purpose of helping persons in participating in cross-cultural mission trips with needed funds for this experience.
The fund was established with a sacrificial gift from Paul’s retirement account. Quarterly, the fund is reviewed by the trustees and the accrued interest is distributed as scholarships to approved applicants. Priority is given to first-time applicants who demonstrate financial need. Since the scholarship fund was established, more than 250 people have received financial assistance for their mission trips.
The quarterly application deadline is as follows:
- December 1 – For mission trips taking place January to March
- March 1 – For mission trips taking place April to June
- June 1 – For mission trips taking place July to September
- September 1 – For mission trips taking place October to December
